What if the room you’re asking God to take you out of is the very room He wants to use you in?

In John 2, Jesus performs His first miracle at a wedding—an ordinary moment, an ordinary gathering, and an unexpected need. Before anyone understood who Jesus truly was or what He could do, He was already in the room.

And the same is true for us.

We can become so focused on what’s next that we miss what God is doing right now. We can be physically present with our families, at work, at church, or around friends while mentally and spiritually somewhere else.

But you’re not just another person in the room.

You carry the presence of God.

You carry hope.

You carry a testimony.

You carry the Gospel.

You carry the ability to pray, encourage, serve, and make a difference.

In this message, we’re challenged to:

• Be present in the moments God has given us

• Remember who we are when we enter the room

• Notice what is running empty around us

• Bring needs to Jesus instead of only talking about them

• Give God what we already have

• Stop waiting for perfect circumstances

• Refuse to let fear make decisions that obedience should be making

The servants at Cana didn’t have anything impressive. They had jars, water, and obedience.

And Jesus turned an ordinary moment into a revelation of His glory.

Maybe you don’t need another room.

Maybe you need to recognize what God wants to do through you in the room you’re already in.

Don’t waste the room because you’re obsessed with the next room.
